Uttarakhand man tests positive for COVID-19 in Chandigarh

He came to visit his mother who works as a domestic help here

Chandigarh, June 3

A 25-year-old man from Uttarakhand tested positive for COVID-19 in the city on Wednesday, officials said.

The man, who lives and works in Delhi, came to Chandigarh 10 days ago to visit his mother who works as a domestic help here. 

This case will not be counted among Chandigarh's COVID-19 cases, which still stands at 301 with five deaths. 

Chandigarh currently has 83 active COVID-19 cases.
