Uttarakhand beat Chandigarh by 103 runs in Women’sSr One-day Trophy

City girls suffered the third consecutive defeat in the Women’s Senior One-day Trophy, which was played in Pune. The city team faced a 103-run defeat against Uttarakhand. Chasing the target of 232 runs, Chandigarh collapsed at the score of 128.

Earlier, Uttrakhand piled up a decent total of 231/6 with the help of AN Tomar (124) and Sarika Koli (58 ). Rajni Devi took two wickets while Nandini Sharma and Priyanka Guleria shared one wicket each for the bowling side

In reply, Chandigarh bundled out for 128 runs in 47 overs wherein Shivani Thakur, who made 33 runs, was the top scorer. Chandigarh will now play its fourth match against Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
