Two DSPs transferred in Chandigarh, 6 get additional charge

Chandigarh, June 22

Two DSPs were today transferred while six others were given additional charge along with their present postings. The shuffle took place as three DANIPS-cadre officers - Sukhraj Katewa, Krishan Kumar and Rajiv Kumar Ambasta - were today relieved from the Chandigarh Police.

Dilsher Chandel, who was DSP (Communications), has been transferred to the IRB, along with the additional charge of the PCR. Charanjit Singh, who was posted in the traffic wing, has been transferred as the DSP (Central).

Ram Gopal, who is presently DSP (CID), has been given the additional charge of the PRO. Uday Pal, who is posted as the DSP (Security), has been given the additional charge of the Crime Branch and the EOW.

Sita Devi, who is DSP (Recruitment Training Centre), has been given the additional charge of the Communication Wing. Amarao Singh, who is presently DSP (Security) (Headquarters), has been given the additional charge of the Woman and Child Safety Unit. Rashmi Sharma Yadav, who is presently DSP (Cyber Cell) and DSP (Operations), has been given the additional charge of DSP (Headquarters). Meanwhile, Palak Goel, who is DSP (Traffic), has been given the additional charge of the District Commandant Home Guards (DCHG).
