Panchkula, January 12

Three persons have been booked for rioting and assault in Pinjore.

The suspects have been identified as Sumer, Abdul and Azru. The police also booked half a dozen other unidentified persons in the case.

In his complaint to the police, Lalit alleged that he and his brother earlier worked at a salon with Sumer. Later, they opened their own shop and many customers from their previous place of work shifted to their shop, which irked Sumer.

He said Sumer nursed a grudge against them. “He, along with his accomplices, armed with iron rods and sticks came to our shop on Wednesday night and attacked us,” he said. A case has been registered at the Pinjore police station.
