A rashly driver truck claimed the life of a Pinjore resident while he was riding pillion on his friend’s motorcycle at the Old Panchkula lights last night.
The victim, identified as Rajesh, and his friend, Krishan Kumar, were on their way to Chikan village. Both were taken to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6 where the doctors declared Rajesh brought dead.
The police have booked the unidentified driver who fled the scene leaving the truck behind. – TNS
