The Society for Promotion of Science & Technology in India (SPSTI) organised an awareness lecture on Covid infection at Tribune Model School, Sector 29-D, Chandigarh. The lecture was delivered by Prof SK Jindal, former head, Department of Pulmonary Diseases, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Prof Jindal talked about laboratory diagnosis, face masks, risk assessment, transmission and susceptibility, treatment and prevention and control measures.

The Gurukul, Panchkula

AgusIndra Udayana, a Padma Shri nominee, who is also known as Indonesian Gandhi for his exemplary work outside India, visited The Gurukul, Panchkula, and interacted with students. Students of The Gurukul school were enthusiastic to meet the social activist. He taught students a beautiful song on happiness in the Balinese language and also spoke about Indian shlokas and their meanings.

Manav Rachna, Mohali

Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, organised the second segment of Edu Saga to showcase the learning experiences of students of Classes I to IV. The appreciation ceremony, wherein the students were awarded certificates for their numerous achievements this year, added grandeur to the event and made it a historic day for them. The cultural extravaganza comprising music, theatre and dance performances by students left the audience mesmerised.

Adarsh Public, Chandigarh

A mock Parliament was organised at Adarsh Public Smart School, Sector 20-B, Chandigarh. The motto behind the activity was to check the debating skills of students and to enhance their knowledge. Students of Class VII and VIII participated in the activity.

Sri Aurobindo School, Chandigarh

Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh, organised ‘Auro Explorica’ on the school premises. The school buzzed with a plethora of activities wherein students from Classes I to VIII showcased various inter disciplinary projects carried out by them throughout the year. Parents and spectators posed several questions related to projects which were answered by students very confidently.

The British School, Panchkula

The British School, Panchkula, organised an informative session for students to create awareness about the rapidly spreading virus. Students were sensitised about various methods to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

DPS, Zirakpur

The montessori section of DPS, Zirakpur, celebrated Rainbow Colour Day, under which a fancy dress competition was organised for kids. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful. TNS
