Students of St Xavier`s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, celebrated ‘Mahashivratri’ in reverence of Lord Shiva with fervour. A special morning assembly was conducted wherein the importance of ‘Mahashivratri’ was narrated to the students.

AKSIPS-45, Chandigarh

A plantation drive was organised at AKSIPS-45 in the memory of the martyrs of the Pulwama attack. The programme started with a speech about the hardships being faced by soldiers every day. Songs by the school choir filled the atmosphere with pride.

The science department of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School organised an inter-house quiz, ‘The Mind Fizz’, for Classes IX-X on its premises. The event was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Chandigarh.

Banyan Tree, Chandigarh

A session on 'good touch-bad touch' was organised at Banyan Tree School, Chandigarh, for the students of pre-primary classes. Students watched videos that made them understand the types of touches. The session highlighted how to handle a bad touch. Later, the students reflected their understanding verbally and on worksheets. Some of the parents also volunteered to be a part of the activity.
