Vijayendra Kumar beat Dharminder Sharma 21-10, 21-7 to enter the men’s singles semifinals of the U-50 age category of the Maharaja Agrasen All-India Open Prize Money Masters Badminton Tournament.

In the quarterfinals of the men’s singles (35 years age category, Pankaj Nathani defeated Dr Manish Chaudhry 21-14, 21-6 and Anuj Bhaskar beat Anish Sharma 21-13, 21-14. Peeyush Aggarwal defeated Kamal Vashishtha 21-11, 21-10. Akash Sethi beat Simardeep Singh 21-9, 17-21, 21-10. In the women’s singles, Sandhya Melasheemi defeated Kavita Kaul 21-1, 21-8 and Amit Jyoti beat Preetika Kakkar 21-8, 21-8. Kabra Prabina beat Nisha Jain 21-5, 21-5.
