School notes: Shemrock School, Mohali

The school organised Junior Melodiosa, a musical event that provided a platform for the young artistes to show their talent in music. Renowned musicians, Vikramjeet Singh and Gauri Pradhan were the jury members. Brookfield International School, Saipins School, Chandigarh, Vidya Valley School, Kharar, Shemrock School, Mohali and St Kabir School, Chandigarh, among others participated in the event.

St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, CHD

Chandigarh Traffic Police Department organised a road safety awareness session at the school. Students of classes 9 and 10 participated in the event overseen by Inspector Rohtas Yadav.

A Magic show was organised on campus by Tribune Chandigarh. Teachers and students enjoyed the show and were mesmerized by the tricks played by the magician.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula

Shivom of Class 8 secured the best actor award, Kudrat from and Navya from Class 8 won the best choreography award at the 'CineMaestro I Take 5: Shaping Future Filmmakers' competition.

Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh

A blessing ceremony was organised at the school for the outgoing students of classes 10 and 12. The founders and directors of the school, Dr Earnest Charles J Samuel and Dr Annie Charles Samuel wished the students luck for the future and urged them to be prepared for challenges that the they may face the future.

St Mary's School, Chandigarh

Students participated in various events such as races, shotput, long jump, javelin throw and a relay race, among others at the annual sports day of the school. The chairman of the school, father Aju Abraham, members of management committee and Principal Dr Martin Das Rao presented awards and trophies to the winners.
