School guard sodomises six-year-old

A security guard of a private school in Patiala has been arrested for allegedly sodomising a six-year-old kid here on Tuesday.

The incident occurred before the lockdown when the victim used to attend school regularly.

According to the FIR, the kid stated that security guard would take him to the washroom after school hours and sodomised him.

The Patiala police have booked the accused under sections 377, 506 of the IPC and sections 4, 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

A relative of the family said “The kid had fallen ill for several days after the incident. The exact reason behind his illness has come to the fore now. Apart from the accused, the police should take action against the school authorities.”
