Rs 3.1L stolen from shop in Sohana

Mohali, April 6

An unidentified youth stole Rs3.1 lakh from a hardware shop in Sohana this afternoon. The shop owner, Jai Kumar Goyal, had gone for some work nearby when a bike-borne youth allegedly entered the shop after breaking its glass door and fled with a bag containing Rs3.1 lakh. CCTV footage showed the miscreant sans a mask, fleeing the spot. A case has been registered. — TNS
