Punjabi University win taekwondo meet

CHandigarh, March 15

Punjabi University (Patiala) won the All India Inter-University Taekwondo Championship concluded today. Maharshi Dayanand University (Rohtak) claimed the second position and Lovely Professional University (Phagwara) finished third.

In the U-54 kg category, Puneetpal claimed the podium position, while Gaurav finished second. Sachin and Shubham Sharma claimed the joint third position. In the U-58kg category, Raghu and Aman claimed the first and second position, respectively, while Adeep and Jotin Singh claimed the joint third position. In the U-63kg category, Shubh Kamboj won the first position, followed by Deepanshu Moga at second position. Ranga Singh and Mannat Aroa claimed the joint third position. —TNS
