Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore to unfurl Tricolour in Mohali

Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore will unfurl the National Flag at the state-level function at Government College in Mohali on January 26.

After reviewing the full dress rehearsal, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan said necessary arrangements had been made.

Dayalan said there would be no large public gathering during the Republic Day function in view of the pandemic. He said safety protocols regarding Covid-19 would specifically ensure sanitation, social distancing and wearing of masks. He said there would be no cultural programme. — TNS
