PU issues guidelines

On the basis of the instructions of the Director, Higher Education, Panjab University has issued guidelines for BEd admissions for Colleges of Education in the UT and affiliated to the university.

In all, 10 per cent seats have been recreated for the economically weaker section (EWS) for admission to local colleges. Such candidates can send their application to the coordinator, BEd admissions, along with supporting documents, as per the instructions, including payment of application fee of Rs2,175.

A candidate has to deposit his/her fee online at https://payonline.puchd.ac.in against the Fee Code “M0120”. In case a candidate, who wants to apply under this category, but has already paid the application fee, need not pay the amount again (mention previous application number).

Also, candidates have to attach all documents in support of their claims, including Class X DMC, graduation and postgraduation (if any) detailed marks certificate, EWS certificate, fee slip and send all these in a single portable document format (PDF) file to the website — chandigarhbed@pu.ac.in —on or before last date.

Forms will be available from December 1 and have to submitted at the website —chandigarhbed@pu.ac.in —on or before December 5.
