Property buyers throng Real Estate Expo on Day 2

The second day of the ‘Real Estate Expo-2020’, organised by The Tribune, saw much activity today. It catered to consumers from all ages with different tastes, interests and expectations from the Expo that showed up to buy residential or commercial space.

Naina Dhall, who was looking for a three BHK flat for her family, said, “I’m looking for a comfortable house for my parents. I want a ready-to-move-in flat which is comfortable and accessible. This is the right time to buy as the rates are low and many options for loans are available as well.”

There were many retired people among visitors at the Expo. Col SK Anand, looking for a residential property in a good locality, said, “I want an affordable flat for my son. I am keen on those builders who can provide flats with good specifications and deliver on promised time.”

While there were people looking to buy houses for themselves, there were others looking to buy property for investment purpose. “I’m here for the second day. Today I’m looking for a property where I can invest and earn income from,” said Kulwant Singh while looking at brochures of ‘The Paradise’.

Praising the initiative by The Tribune, a happy consumer said, “A good platform was offered here by The Tribune where all major builders are present. We can explore all options and compare prices without visiting the sites,” said Deep Kumar (32), who wanted to buy a three BHK flat. Builders, on the other hand, are buoyant that the market will improve and they were having buildups according to the needs of the consumers.

Pooja Kochhar, Head Sales, JLPL, which is promoting residential space at the Expo, says the turnout is good. “This is pipeline that will generate leads later. We are creating an interest in the projects we have among consumers.” She said that people were more interested in buying properties below Rs 50 lakh which can be easily financed.

While inaugurating the Expo, Pawandeep S Bawa, GM and Business Head, HDFC Ltd, spoke about various product offerings of HDFC Housing Loans to all segments of society. He said they are offering attractive interest rates and quick processing of loans. Customers visiting the Expo can make best use of our offers and select their choice of properties showcased by reputed Builders of Tricity.

Piyush Goyal of Sushma Builders said people have developed more confidence in builders with RERA in place. Sushma has displayed both commercial as well as residential properties at the event.

Other major builders at the event were Marbella, Escon, Primera, The Mentor Group, Highland Park, Ambika, SBP, Victoria, among others.

The three-day event, is aimed at introducing prospective customers and investors to multiple real-estate projects.
