PGI scales up elective services

With respite in Covid-19 cases, the PGI has scaled up its elective services, including outpatient services.

A meeting was held by the Director with senior faculty members and administrative officials today to review the functioning of the OPDs.

New registration timings

It has been decided to change the registration timings at the PGI with effect from October 11. Registration for physical OPD will be from 8 am to 10 am and for tele-consultation from 10.30 am to 11.15 am.

These changes have been introduced taking in view the increasing number of patients. The online registration for physical as well as tele-consultation will continue as before.

The number of walk-in registration has been increased to 6,500, which is quite close to the pre-pandemic level when of 10,000 patients. — TNS
