To motivate the students to do well in exams, Paragon Convent School, Sector 24-B, conducted an interactive session to suggest ways to reduce stress. Principal Rajni Dutta advised the children on overcoming the fear of examination.

The Millennium, Mohali

The Millennium School, Mohali, organised a workshop on ‘first aid’ for the students of Class V to VIII. Students learnt about the CPR and mouth-choking techniques.

Ashmah International, Mohali

Ashmah International School, Sector 70, organised a colouring competition on the school premises. Students were given the required art material. The senior group was given acrylic colours, while oil pastels were given to the junior group. Students made posters on ‘Save Water’, ‘Save Earth’, ‘elections’, ‘heritage India and women empowerment’ and ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’.

Indus Public, Kharar

Students of Indus Public School participated in ‘Love Your Pet Day’ activity. Students and their parents brought their pets to the school and spoke about them. Some students were dressed up as parrots, rabbits, cows and fish. Children also recited rhymes and spoke about pet care.

Learning Paths, Mohali

Students of Learning Paths School, Mohali, enthralled the audience with their annual show, ‘My Fair Lady’, which is a musical based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion at Tagore Theatre. Students of Classes IV and V left no stone unturned in making the show a huge success with their acting, dance and singing. Aarna Bhalla, as Eliza, stole the show with her stellar performance. Samrath Singh played Professor Higgins and Aditya Gupta did justice to the role of Colonel Pickering. The beautifully choreographed dances added life to the story. tns
