One death, 28 new cases in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The city on Saturday reported 28 fresh cases of Covid and one death, taking the tally to 21,088 and the toll to 339. A total of 30 more patients recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. —TNS

Two fatalities in Mohali dist

Mohali: Two fatalities were witnessed due to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths to 372 in the district. Meanwhile, 25 fresh cases have been reported till Saturday evening while 37 more patients have been cured of the disease. Among the fresh cases, 22 came from Mohali (urban) and one each from Dera Bassi, Dhakoli and Gharuan. So far, the district has reported 19,599 cases and 18,775 recoveries. There are 452 active cases. — TNS

No death, 11 more infected in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Saturday reported 11 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 10,596. The toll remained 147. While 10,347 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 102 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 97.65 per cent. —TNS
