No more pasting posters on quarantined houses in Chandigarh

Stamping of hands of infected people to also be discontinued

The Chandigarh Administration on Wednesday decided to discontinue the practice of pasting posters on quarantined houses and stamping on hands of quarantined persons.

Adviser Manoj Parida decided to follow Punjab Government’s practice due to several complaints from affected people regarding social ridicule and stigmatisation.
