No fatality, 2 cases in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Friday reported just two fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 30,609. With no fresh death, the toll remained at 375. While 30,211 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 23 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.69 per cent. — TNS

Chandigarh: The city on Friday reported eight new cases of Covid-19 and no death. A total of 16 patients were cured during the past 24 hours. — TNS

1 more succumbs in Mohali, 6 test +ve

mohali: One more person succumbed to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the district to 1,054. Meanwhile, six new cases surfaced in the district till Friday evening, taking the total number of cases to 68,359, while 21 patients got the better of the virus. Among the new cases two each came from Mohali (urban) and Khrar and one each from Dhakoli and Gharuan. No fresh case was reported from Dera Bassi, Lalru, Banur, Boothgarh and Kurali. — TNS
