A two-day winter carnival commenced at Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh. Justice Jaspal Singh (Retd) of the Punjab and Haryana High Court inaugurated the event. Students participated in a number of activities and various stalls were set up to entertain the audience.

Student council was conferred with badges and crests with. Chandan Singh Kler and Noorbir Kaur have been appointed head boy and head girl, respectively.

Basant Panchami was celebrated at Ryan International School, Mohali. Students and teachers of Montessori classes came in yellow attire. Students brought traditional yellow coloured dishes. A kite decoration contest was also held on the occasion.

PML SD-32, Chandigarh

Tiny tots of petal’s (a unit of the Pandit Mohan Lal SD Public School, Sector 32C, Chandigarh) celebrated Basant Panchami by taking part in ‘Saraswati Puja’. The kids wore traditional attire and brought yellow flowers and meals. — TNS
