Mohali sees 4 new cases of dengue

In a major relief to the Health Department, only four cases of dengue surfaced in the district during the past 24 hours.

Civil Surgeon Dr Adarshpal Kaur said only four cases of dengue surfaced in the district on Thursday and with this, the number of patients reached 612.

It is pertinent to mention here that last month saw a sudden spurt in dengue cases in the district. Health officials said Mohali (Urban), Phase 7, Phase 3B1, Balongi, Dera Bassi city and Saidpura were high-risk areas. As many as six suspected dengue deaths have been reported from the district so far.
