Mock earthquake drill in Chandigarh on February 22

In a proactive measure to bolster disaster preparedness, the UT Administration, in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), will hold a mock exercise on earthquake scenario on February 22.

With the aim to enhance the city’s resilience and preparedness in the face of potential seismic events, the mock exercise will be executed at various locations in the city.

In light of this exercise, citizens have been urged to remain vigilant and familiarise themselves with emergency protocols.

For any emergency assistance or information, people can dial helpline number ‘112’.
