Minister opens sports complex at Palhedi village

Punjab Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion, Labour and Hospitality Anmol Gagan Mann today inaugurated a sports complex at Palhedi village in the Kharar constituency.

The complex has a cricket pitch and a volleyball ground besides a track for morning walkers. The minister asked the block development and panchayat officer concerned to set up an open air gym on the complex also. She also dedicated a sewer water disposal system set up at a cost of Rs 19 lakh and a small park built at a cost of Rs 6 lakh to area residents. She assured the villagers that the missing link of the main road would be built soon.
