Chandigarh, February 9

Chandigarh Police have filed a charge sheet against 4 AAP leaders, including Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Maan, in a case registered against them during a protest organised near BJP office in Sector 37 in August 2021.

Other leaders, whose names were mentioned in the charge sheet, include Rajwindwer Kaur Gill, Sunny Singh Ahluwalia and Arshdeep Singh.

In a complaint, assistant sub-inspector Mahabir Singh alleged that Gill, Anmol Gagan, Ahluwalia and Arshdeep Singh along with many members of the AAP women wing assembled before the BJP office. They tried to break barricades and injured policemen. He also alleged that they have violated social distance norms imposed by the government in view of Covid-19 outbreak.
