Man held for stealing Rs 60K from house in Pinjore

The police have nabbed a man for stealing Rs 60,000 from a locked house in Pinjore.

The suspect was identified as Suraj, a native of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The police said Raj Kumar, a resident of Kabir Panth Mohalla, had lodged a complaint that he was away to Delhi and on return, he found Rs 60,000 kept in a cupboard stolen.

A case was registered under Section 454 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code at the Pinjore police station. The police later arrested the suspect and produced him in a court, which remanded him in one-day police custody.
