Man arrested with pistol

Mohali, July 29

The Lalru police arrested a person for possessing .315-bore country-made pistol and eight cartridges from the Ambala-Chandigarh highway on last night.

The accused has been identified as Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Fatehabad district of Haryana. He was produced in a local court which remanded him to two-day police custody. A case under Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused.
