A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Industrial Area Phase 2, Panchkula, in the early hours of Wednesday. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

At least 10 firefighting vehicles were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.

It took them more than 4 hours to douse the flames. However, the firefighting operations continued until morning.

Meanwhile, police officials, including ACP Noopur Bishnoi, Sector 14 police station SHO, Sector 19 chowki in-charge also reached the spot.

The fire department is still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
