Zirakpur: Licence of IELTS centre suspended

The district administration today suspended the licence of an IELTS institute, EliteUp Academy, based in Zirakpur for 90 days as it had not been conducting IELTS classes for three consecutive months.

Additional District Magistrate Amaninder Kaur Brar said despite a notice from the administration, neither the the licensee nor his representative appeared for a clarification. The licence of this institute located in the main market of Peermuchalla is valid till August 9??, 2023.

Brar said the licensee had also been instructed to suspend work under this licence till further orders. A notice has been issued to the licensee giving him 15 days’ time to clarify his position as to why his licence should not be revoked, she added.
