Central schemes: Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher chairs first meeting of advisory, monitoring panel

The first meeting of the District-Level Advisory and Monitoring Committee (DLAMC) was organised at the UT Guest House here today.

The meeting was chaired by MP Kirron Kher and attended by Member Secretary Vinay Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, and ex officio members, including Mayor Anup Gupta and MC Commissioner Anindita Mitra among others.

The committee was notified by the Secretary, Local Government, Chandigarh Administration, on February 8. It reviewed and monitored the implementation of the schemes related to the Atal Mission for the Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Swachh Bharat Mission, National Urban Livelihood Mission and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Officials from the departments concerned gave a brief presentation regarding the status of the implementation these schemes.
