Chandigarh, September 7

Indian hockey players Harmanpreet Singh and Gurjant Singh, along with Dr Manit Arora, who treated them to overcome injuries, interacted with the media today.

Satisfied with the line of treatment at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, Gurjant said: “Dr Arora has helped several hockey players like me recover from injuries.”

Hockey Team Vice-Captain Harmanpreet Singh had swelling and pain in his knees which restricted his performance on the field. He approached Dr Arora. An MRI revealed that he was suffering from a tissue (ACL) injury. He was operated on. Following rehabilitation, he returned to the team camp in a span of five months in December last year. — TNS
