Mohali, June 23

Concerned over the increase in Covid cases, the district health authorities have once again appealed to residents to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour to stay away from the deadly disease.

The Civil Surgeon, Dr Adarshpal Kaur, and the district immunisation officer, Dr Girish Dogra, said basic guidelines such as wearing of masks, maintaining social distance and frequent washing of hands should be followed by all. She said in case of persistent cough, cold or fever, one should visit a government health facility and seek the advice of a doctor and get a Covid test done.
