A magic show was organised for students of Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2, Mohali, created a thrilling aura which engrossed tiny tots and drove them into the magical world. Director Principal Ranjit Bedi thanked the magician for making the morning really magical and entertaining for everyone.

Saint Soldier, Chandigarh

A teachers’ workshop on “Effects of modern parenting” was conducted at Saint Soldier International School, Sec 28-B, Chandigarh. Pediatrician Dr Vikram Bedi threw light on various important aspects of parenting. He cleared myths related to a variety of food and medicines taken in routine. Principal Vijaya Sidhu said the interactive and informative session was very beneficial for teachers.

St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula

To motivate the scientific aptitude of the students, an inter-class model making competition was organised for students of classes VI-VIII on the occasion of Science Day at St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula. Principal George S Shear appreciated the innovative ideas and encouraged the students to continue with their inquisitive and curious attitude.

Aanchal International, Chandigarh

Aanchal International School organised a creative writing competition for classes IV to VIII. Topics like dreams and goals, environment and courage etc were given to them. Students penned down beautiful essays and poems. The winners were awarded with certificates.

Sri Aurobindo School of Education

Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Sector 27 A , Chandigarh celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting a trail of three-day event — Auro Expressions Junior — on the school premises for pre-primary and primary classes. A plethora of competitions were organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of ‘The Mother’, Meirra Alfasa, who brought up the concept of integral education, which is the hallmark of the school.

Kids ‘R’ Kids school, Chandigarh

Kids ‘R’ Kids school Sector 42, Chandigarh, organised annual prize distribution ceremony at its campus to celebrate the achievements the students. Students were honoured with trophies and certificates by Principal Director of the school Anupam Grewal.

Mount Carmel School, Mohali

An elocution presentation on the topics national festivals of India, moral stories, good manners and bad manners was conducted for the students of classes I A and I B in Mount Carmel School, Sector 69, Mohali, to test their English speaking skills. A group discussion on good manners and bad manners was also held.

AKSIPS 45 SMART SCHOOL, Chandigarh

World Thinking Day was celebrated at the school wherein a special assembly was organised on the premises. Students recited scouts and guides prayer followed by flag hosting ceremony by Director Principal Dr Jasmine Kalra. Students were informed about the importance of the day.
