Flesh trade racket busted, 10 in police net

The Mandi Gobindgarh police claim to have unearthed flesh trade racket at nearby Ajnali village and arrested 10 persons, including a man, who had taken house on rent, seven girls and two youths in this regard.

The arrested girls belong to Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, Ludhiana, Rajpura, Mandi Gobindgarh and Patiala. The arrested youths are from Bihar and Patiala.

The police recovered Rs40,000 from the spot. A case has been registered against the suspects.

The Amloh DSP, Sukhwinder Singh, said SHO Prem Singh got a tip-off that Jaspreet Singh of Rajpura was running a brothel at a rented accommodation in Ajnali village. A police party raided the house and arrested its owner, seven girls and two youths, the DSP added. — OC
