Zirakpur, July 25

The local Municipal Council removed encroachments near six showrooms on the Nagla road today.

Building Inspector Nirdosh Sharma, along with other officials, reached the spot and got the illegal constructions removed with a JCB. The encroachments were raised by the showroom owners.

Sharma said these six showrooms belonged to separate owners. “We went to the spot and found that the parking space outside the showrooms was illegally occupied by the owners. An illegal structure raised alongside stairs in the parking space was also demolished,” he said.

The MC officials have asked the owners to submit the documents related to their showrooms to verify whether they had got the building plan approved.
