Two bike-borne youths attacked a cycle mechanic with sharp weapons and robbed him of Rs 5,000 in Sector 57 here today.

The victim has been identified as Shiva, a native of Meerut, who was currently staying in Balongi. The assailants snatched Rs5000 from him and fled. He was admitted to the Phase 6 Civil Hospital. The police are investigatin the matter. — TNS
