Covid-19: Five test positive for coronavirus in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, August 11

The city on Wednesday reported five cases of Covid-19 and no virus death. One more patient was cured of the disease. TNS

2 fresh cases in Panchkula, no fatality

Panchkula: The district on Wednesday reported just two fresh cases, taking the overall tally to 30,656. With no fresh death, the Covid toll remained at 376. While 30,270 people have recovered from the disease so far, 10 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent. TNS

Three contract infection in Mohali

Mohali: Three new cases of Covid-19 — one each from Dhakoli, Kharar and Mohali — were reported from the district on Wednesday. Four patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. The district tally stands at 68,505 and 67,402 have been cured. TNS
