Congress leaders, workers join AAP

Chandigarh, October 17

Nearly 50 Congress leaders and volunteers joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at a function held in Mani Majra here today.

Nitin Goyal, chief spokesperson for AAP, said those who joined the party included Mahipal Sharma, former block president, Dataram Dainik, former district vice-president, Avtar Singh, former Youth Congress leader, Kamal Kishore, Mani, Puneet Sindhi, Lucky, Madan Singh Madda, Pappa and several women leaders.

Former Congress Councillor Chandermukhi Sharma had recently joined the party.

Prem Garg, convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, Chandermukhi Sharma, Vijay Pal Singh and PP Ghai welcomed the former Congress leaders into the party fold.
