Chandigarh, October 27

The CITCO authorities have failed to close a gate in the rear boundary wall of Hotel Mountview, Sector 10, even after getting instructions from the Chief Architect four months ago.

In a complaint to the UT Administration on March 16, 2020, Col Kulwinder Singh (retd), president of the RWA, Sector 10, stated that the authorities had opened a gate illegally in the rear boundary wall of the hotel.

Acting on the complaint, the Chief Architect, Department of Urban Planning, sent a letter to the CITCO authorities on June 30, and stated that no such entry was permitted as per the approved Zoning Plan. — TNS
