Chandigarh witnesses four Covid cases, no fatality

7 fresh Covid cases surface in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district reported seven fresh coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the overall tally to 30,804. The city has already witnessed four daily cases on two occasions this month. As many as 214 samples were taken by the Health Department, of which seven came out positive. The positivity rate stands at 3.27 per cent. The toll stands at 379. While 30,407 people have recovered from the disease so far, 18 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.71 per cent. — TNS


No fresh case in Mohali district

Mohali: No new Covid-19 case was reported from the district, while three persons recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Of the 68,909 positive cases reported so far, 67,803 patients have recovered. The active case count is 35. The death toll in the district stands at 1,071. — TNS
