Chandigarh sees 33 Covid cases, max in 6 months

With 33 fresh Covid cases, the UT on Wednesday recorded its highest single-day tally since mid-June, taking the number to 65,829. The death count remained 1,079. Meanwhile, seven patients were cured of the disease. — TNS

Six test positive in Mohali

Mohali: Six new cases of Covid-19, two each from Mohali and Boothgarh and one each from Kharar and Dhakoli, were reported from the district on Wednesday. Twelve patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. — TNS

7 cases reported from Panchkula

Panchkula: The district reported seven fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the overall tally to 30,957. The death count remained at 381. While 30,517 people have recovered from the infectious disease, 59 cases are still active. — TNS
