Chandigarh reports 4 new Covid cases

Chandigarh, June 27

Chandigarh reported four new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a bulletin from the union territory’s administration showed on Tuesday.

The UT’s active Covid-19 cases now stand at 37, with an average positivity rate of 0.24 per cent over the last week.  Some 1,420 swab samples were tested over 24 hours.

The bulletin also showed six recoveries.

Meanwhile, 7,29,822 people over 18 have been given at least one shot of the Covid-19 vaccine in the union territory, the bulletin showed. Of this number, 1,78,573 are fully vaccinated.
