Chandigarh reports 119 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking the Union Territory's total to 2,515.

The city's death toll stands at 31.

Over 1,000 infections remain active in the city.

Earlier, a 74-year-old man from Sector 24 died at the PGI. He suffered refractory septic shock due to coronavirus and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
