Chandigarh eager to win against Bihar

Chandigarh, February 5

Chandigarh would be keen on maintaining their winning momentum and close in on the gap with table-toppers Odisha when they square off with Bihar in their penultimate round of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here tomorrow.

Chandigarh are currently placed third in the Plate Group with 35 points from seven matches and nothing short of a victory would keep their hope of making it to the knockouts alive. Odisha lead the table with 40 points, while Pondicherry are a point behind in the second place.

Ahead of the crunch game, Chandigarh have bolstered their side with the inclusion of in-form Arslan Khan, Akshit Rana, Yuvraj Chaudhary and Surya Narayan Yadav, skipper Amrit Lubana will hope that changes come handy against Bihar, who are placed fourth in the table with 34 points. — TNS
