Chandigarh airport summer schedule to kick in on March 31

Hisar, Dharamshala and Jammu will have enhanced connectivity from Chandigarh.

As the summer schedule of Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport is expected to kick in on March 31, Hisar, Dharamshala and Jammu will have enhanced connectivity from Chandigarh. From the existing 74 flights in winters, the number of flights will go up to 96 in summers — 48 arrivals and 48 departures. Akasa Air will also make a foray in the Chandigarh skies.

As of now, four airlines operate from here. Six aircrafts will take a night halt here in summers, one up from the existing winter arrangement.
