Biker dies in Zirakpur mishap

A 48-year-old Patiala man, Jaswant Singh Kala, died and his father-in-law was injured after a vehicle hit the duo on a bike near the Zirakpur flyover today evening. — TNS

15-yr-old girl found dead

Mohali:The body of a 15-year-old girl, Reshma, a native of Unao (UP), was found hanging from a ceiling fan at a house in Sector 99 here on Thursday morning. The body was handed to the family after a postmortem at the Phase 6 hospital. The police are probing the matter.
