Another death, 89 new cases in Panchkula

The district witnessed one more fatality due to Covid-19, taking the toll to 86. Meanwhile, 89 more persons tested positive for the virus today, taking the infection tally to 5,879.

Civil Surgeon Dr Jasjit Kaur said a 73-year-old man from Sector 10, who breathed his last today, had comorbidities.

The fresh cases include one each from Budanpur, Morni and Chandimandir, two from Kalka, eight from Kharak Mangoli, two from Lohgarh, five from MDC, nine from Pinjore, two each from Power Colony and Sector 12, three from Sector 10, two each from Sector 11 and 12, one from Sector 12-A, seven from Sector 15, three from Sector 16, two each from Sector 17 and 19, one from Sector 2, 10 from Sector 20, four from Sector 21, two from Sector 25, three each from Sector 4 and 6, five from Sector 7 and three each from Sector 8 and 9.
