AG Punjab defeat ITBP 5-2

Chandigarh, June 19

Vasudev scored two goals as AG Punjab logged a convincing 5-2 win over ITBP in the ongoing Chandigarh State Hockey Championship at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.

Vasudev (24th, 41st) netted two goals while Jaskaran (3rd), Kawaljit (6th) and Yadwinder (43rd) scored a goal each. Parwinder (49th) and Prince Pal (58th) scored for ITBP.

In the second match, SGGS Hockey Club, Sector 26, played a goalless draw against CISF. The team of 3BRD defeated AG Punjab (B) by three goals. Davinder (4th), Sukhdev (36th) and Lovedeep (55th) scored one goal each.

ITBP lads won their second league match of the day by defeating Chandigarh Hockey Academy, Sector 42.

Harwinder (17th), Hardeep (18th) and Palwinder (40th) netted a goal each, whereas Sahibjit (18th) netted one for the Sector 42.
