Activa rider dies in hit-&-run in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, November 24

In a hit-and-run case, an Activa rider was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle near the Poultry Farm chowk.

Complainant Daman Tiwari, a resident of Sector 20, reported that the Activa, being driven by his brother-in-law Yograj, alias Yogesh, was hit from the rear by an unknown vehicle near the Poultry Farm chowk on November 22. The victim was injured and admitted to the GMCH, Sector 32, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The police have registered a case at the Sector 31 police station.
