59-year-old woman found murdered at Chandigarh’s Panjab University

A 59-year-old woman was reportedly found murdered at her house in the Panjab University Campus on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Seema Goyal, wife of BB Goyal, an employee in the University Business School department in PU.

The police found her hands and legs tied at the spot. There was an injury mark at the back of her head. According to the information, the husband was on the first floor while the wife was on the ground floor.

Their daughter was not present at home. The incident happened in a house in H Block, on the backside of the PU vice chancellor’s residence.
